The AFFA welcomes back the Spruce Grove Fire Fighters Association as members of the International Association of Fire Fighters. Spruce Grove President Ed McLean and his members received their IAFF Charter this summer, and are now IAFF Local 3021. The Spruce Grove Fire Department recently became an integrated Fire Based/Emergency Medical Service and will be hiring four additional fire/medics later this year or early next year bringing their total membership to nine. Spruce Grove joins eight other IAFF/AFFA affiliated departments in Alberta from Medicine Hat to Fort McMurray. Congratulations Spruce Grove!
