The AFFA welcomes the St. Albert Fire Fighters Association into the International Association of Fire Fighters and the Alberta Fire Fighters Association. As of September 18, 2003 the St. Albert Fire Fighters Association shall be known again as IAFF Local 2130. St. Albert is a fully intergrated Fire Based/Emergency Medical Sevice with sixty plus members serving their community and surrounding area. They now become the tenth Fire Department to be affiliated with the nearly 2500 Professional IAFF/AFFA Fire Fighters in Albera. We look forward to working with IAFF Local 2130 President Kim Smyth, his executive and membership toward making Alberta a safer place in which to live.
